Hi! I’m Gina Simpson, also known as Mama G or “The Baby Whisperer.” As a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 30 years, I have had the privilege to work with first-time parents and their infants, emotionally challenged individuals recovering from trauma or post-surgical treatments, and those who seek stress relief, just to name a few. I am a nurturing mama who comforts, teaches, and shares her gifts with new parents while connecting with infants in a whisper of unspoken trust.
My passion is as an educator and as a massage therapist. The phrase, “when the student is ready, the teacher appears,” resonates with everything I do. As a professional, I continue to pursue advanced training that complements the expansive menu of services available.
For soon-to-be or new parents, I provide support and prepare you for the arrival of your newest family member. As your trusted confidant, we can explore your specific concerns and needs about birthing and parenting. My goal is to build your confidence, provide prenatal support and massages to help make the “ride” sweeter.
Once the baby has arrived, you have the opportunity to learn how to touch your baby with love and confidence. In my hands-on educational course, you will learn the benefits and techniques of infant massage. I also share important baby and parenting tips to help you and your baby experience joy on a daily basis. I am with you all the way, encouraging you to trust the path ahead and to enrich the bonds within your family.
In addition, I provide individual massage services for the entire family and community. Sessions are customized to meet the specific needs of the client. Release the pain and find your way to a lighter way of moving through your days and live your purpose-driven life.
Stay tuned for more mindful practices to support the life you desire… a stressless and calm place, a conscious place you create anchored in love, respect, and care from the deepest spaces in your heart.
My approach to the work includes tea time to check-in and establish a plan for that particular session. The focus is on what your body needs. I can then choose the best modalities to support you. You get a custom massage! I believe that the body does not need to be bullied to get results. My intent is to use the subtler modalities that allow the body to unwind.
I have advanced training in Infant Massage, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, Trauma Touch Therapy TM and Subtle Hands-on-Unwinding Therapy. I arrive with a full toolbox to meet the educational, physical, and emotional needs of new babies, families and individuals. A therapeutic massage is a form of communication. It conveys a sense of loving care, a gift that keeps on giving.
The application of Reflexology is a lovely alternative to the full body massage. With a focus on the pressure points on the feet and hands, clients often report feeling as if they had a full-body massage. This session includes an Epsom salt soak prior to your reflexology session.
Trauma happens under a variety of circumstances. This work is sacred, because it helps you to release your trauma at the deepest emotional and physical levels. The modalities vary to meet client’s needs. This work requires several sessions to get to the core issues that are locked in the tissues and to integrate into a whole body experience.
Lymphatic Drainage focuses on edema, otherwise known as excess swelling in areas of the body. This work is especially effective for post-surgical clients and has proven to enhance or accelerate the healing process. Lymphatic Drainage Massage supports the client’s greater range of motion and return to daily activities sooner. This work also improves the immune system, when done regularly to improve a sluggish constitution.
